The Simplified Écorché Kit skeleton armature is designed to be strong enough to allow you to build up a simplified anatomy in colour coded clay.
Follow the extensive notes, diagrams and embedded models in the Form, Gesture, Anatomy Course to gain a much deeper understanding of the forms of the body at a level of detail most useful for artists.
The pose of the skeleton allows you to learn what happens to the anatomy for a bent and straight arm and leg, weight on one leg pose, supinated and pronated forearm.
Prices shown are in USD (Australians can order here in Aussie dollars)
(Shipping is $20 USD outside Australia, and $10 USD within Australia, or pick up in Brisbane)
The kit complements the instructions and 3D models in the Form, Gesture, Anatomy Online Book, if you don’t already have access you can get it here.
GET $20 off the cost of the Kit by purchasing the FGA Course first, logging in, and then going to www.scottbreton.art/kitspecial (Note this requires permanent access to the FGA course by one time payment or payment plan)
You will be posted the 44cm 3D printed Skeleton Kit and a set of 10 plastic modelling tools (see the images). Height of model from base to top of skull is 41cm, total height including the raised arm is 44cm.
Delivery is nominally 10 - 15 working days according to Australia Post service, but naturally dependent on disrupted international flights.
The coloured clay is not included, you will need to purchase the coloured clay kit or source this yourself in order to complete the course. Due to shipping costs of sending nearly 1 kg of plasticine, I fully understand that many people will prefer to source clay locally - so I have included the exact quantities included here in the coloured clay kit.
This selection of 900 grams of 8 different coloured plasticine clay should provide more than enough quantity to complete the course, with enough of each colour to match those in the 3D models in the course notes.
This is my favourite plasticine to work with, not tending to dry out or be oily. Very nice to work with at the scale of the skeleton.
I have included extra cream plasticine which you can use to do the simplified head, ribcage and pelvis studies from lesson 1 of the simplified ecorche (Lesson 1 Activity 1)
Due to increase shipping costs, the cost for me to ship outside of Australia is $37USD at time of writing ($15USD within Australia). I fully understand that many people will prefer to source clay locally, so here are the exact quantities I am including:
Cream: 320grams
Green: 125 grams
Red: 125 grams
Orange: 125 grams
Pale Blue: 83 grams
Purple: 62 grams
Dark Blue: 30 grams
Yellow: 30 grams
