The Form, Gesture, Anatomy Course

A ten week in-person studio based course

Held at the Royal Queensland Art Society, Petrie Terrace

Next term starts on the 9th March 2024

5 consecutive Saturdays, Break, 5 consecutive saturdays

10 am - 4pm with an hour lunch break

  • Mornings: Simplified Anatomy (using the Simplified Écorché Kit included in course)

  • Afternoons: Life drawing from model (The Elements of Classical Drawing)

Curriculum is based on the online book “The Form, Gesture, Anatomy Course” that is included with the course

Parking , Timing and Location of Class

Upstairs workshop space, Royal Queensland Art Society, Petrie Terrace Gallery (see map)

Parking is free on the side streets nearby RQAS. Petrie Terrace has parking restrictions until 7pm weekdays.

The door will be unlocked 30 mins prior to class start but you can buzz or call me on the number pinned to the door to be let in.

I am trying to avoid having class on event days, but if one comes up unexpectedly there should be space in off street parking under RQAS to squeeze in.
